Feel the thrill of hurtling down the giant dunes of Mars Valley, also known as Death Valley—one of the most spectacular landscapes in San Pedro de Atacama. This sport is suitable for both first-time adventurers and more experienced riders seeking adrenaline and epic scenery.
When you arrive at the valley, you’ll receive an introductory sandboarding lesson, where you’ll learn the basic techniques for riding safely, how to brake, control the board, and have the best time possible.
Afterward, you’ll have free time to practice in different areas of the dune, guided by instructors who will keep an eye on your progress. Every climb is worth it: from the top, the view of the desert, the Cordillera de la Sal, and the volcanoes is simply incredible.
During the event, there will be time for a refreshing snack, with unbeatable views of this unique natural setting.
